After a quick review of the new cards, my first thought is: Holy negates Batman!

So many negate lasts in those decks, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

One thing I also did notice was that, at least in the I/J decks, there wasn't much (if any) CBP/I/N which is a welcome change. It makes sense given all the negates in the decks (which makes the battle phase more about negating and discarding opponent's enhancements to win by numbers than to stack your own enhancements to win by numbers) but it's still a sight for sore eyes.

I can't wait to see the chain of negate enhancements that could happen when these decks face each other. "I withdraw you." "Well I negate that." "Well I negate your negate" "And I negate your negate negating my negate" "And I negate your negate negating my negate negating your negate" "I play Christian Martyr." "Aww......"

I was REALLLLLY hoping to see original Angel of the Lord artwork with the new design.

It's a sad day today... I will definitely buy this just to play around with it. Looks super fun. =)

I can't wait till these are out! Beware my upgraded Angel deck!!! MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Angels!

Now we just need some more Cherubim's for T1... I don't think the Guidance Angel would really look great to me... Maybe in a splash deck but I'd still run Chariot of Fire and W3 over that. LOL at the WC No-effect Angel. I still want an updated Servant Angel with Warrior Class. I LOVE GUIDANCE!!! Finally! A card that makes my Micheal combo even faster to pull!!!!!!

YEA!!! A new Emperor that doesn't suck!!!! (Eh... Sorry Pilate but I want an effect that I can use more then once a game plus you don't even use Rome...) I think what I've really wanted is finally happening... A competent Mono-Angel setup might be coming!!!!!! I so cannot wait for the new set to come out!!!

Here's to hoping that Cactusgamedesign releases King Manasseh in purple/pale green/orange. I'd so love to see that. I like the Legion of Angels card. Just wish that comic book series had actually come out. Thanks for all the updates.

Manasseh wouldn't be orange. The only Orange human character in the game is Damsel (and that's because she was possessed by a demon). He would be Purple/pale green/brown.

I agree. But I think that any Manny may just end up worse then the current one without becoming insanely powerful.

Personally I'd like toss to be just a new term to shorten 'Discard from hand' down then the actual Decrease ability would be an effect. But that's just me.

correct me if im wrong, but toss looks like a permanent decrease to me, which doesnt bode well for using foreign spearman for more than 1-2 blocks, especially with all of these big enhancements that just got released

He's not meant to be too effective against big Heroes, he was designed to be most effective against small, initiative Heroes with powerful battle winners (such as Ben and Joe). And don't forget there were a couple of new spears released, which makes him deadly vs. Heroes of */5 or less.

Lastly, there are also ways to increase his toughness. I'm thinking Worship of Milcom might come back in style...

I always had a soft spot for Molten Calf Worship. I know, not as efficient as Worship of Milcom, but I have an inexplicable attachment to MCW.

I guess there are the site guard cards like Guards and Prison Guards, but it's just not the same.

All you have to do with Foreign Spearman is set him aside with Covenant with Death or something and your opponent basically cannot play Angel of the Lord or Grapes of Wrath the whole game if they want to win.
