not sure if I posted something like this before but I felt this is necessary due to us receiving new board members and players. so anyway, post your stories on your redemption beginnings here.

For me it went like this.
back in 2003-2004 I was playing yugioh very rarely but against my dad once the game didn't fly with him,
my sister found it boring but going on; I just quit the game to persue a more Christian themed version of yugioh and I even went as far as trying to come up with almost an exact copy of yugioh but using bible heroes and villians and making david and goliath into proxy yugioh cards made out of notebook paper.
in summer 2004 I never knew about Redemption until one fateful Saturday in September when for my birthday (being at the time it was in august) I was in Memphis visiting my older brother and he handed me the E/F starter decks for my first 100 cards. I was interested to know what this game was and how to play it.
that day I found out what game it was but I didn't learn how to REALLY play the game until a local tournament in franklin, tn where it was there I met polarius and his buddies and they helped me get started on the game and learn about the factory set, and even though I lost numerous times, at the time I didn't care, I wanted to learn and have fun playing the game. so there it is my redemption beginning
