What's your "life-verse?"

Quote
Two things have I required of thee;
deny me them not before I die:
Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me:
Lest I be full, and deny thee,
and say, Who is the LORD?
or lest I be poor, and steal,
and take the name of my God in vain.

The King James Bible, Proverbs 30:7-9

Do you have a Bible verse that you see as a personal motto or prayer? Something that gives you strength?

Psalm 150
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
    praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
    praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
lean not on your own understanding.
In all you ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

He who does not have the Son of God
does not have life. 1 John 5:12

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

FTR, this is probably one of the best Off-Topic threads I have seen in a long time.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

One of them:

Quote from: Matthew 5:37
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

Lately this one has been both one I've been hanging onto, thinking about and is a fairly accurate description of my life

"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.  Luke 14:26-27

God has been really impressing on my heart to think about what price I'm willing to pay to go after him. I've also had to make some very difficult decisions where I had to choose between following God or going a different way. To me these 2 verses are becoming a way of life, not that I will have to give up everything, but when it comes to it I will give up what needs to be given up.
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
I Corinthians 9:24-27
