New Card Ideas

I've seen hundreds of new card ideas over the years and wondered if cactus has actually ever used any of these cards.  If so, which ones, and how much did they change the original idea.

I'm pretty sure Scribe was born from Pol's idea of the same name.

If they ever do print any of my card ideas, we've got proof that Rob's gone crazy.

A number of Pol's cards, I think one of mine, One of lambos (axe) and others have been made. So yes they do.

See, I've heard differently.  I heard that they didn't take ideas or cards from there (potential copyright issues--I guess but I don't remember), so I stop wasting my time in that section of the board.  I had all kinds of ideas, but why go through the time and effort with wishful thinking.

I'm fairly sure copyright issues could be easily overcame.

They can't take ideas ver batum but I do believe they do modify our ideas.

Boredum.

The state of "boredom" doesn't exist.  People choose to not be productive.  When people claim that they are "bored," they are, in fact, being lazy and don't want to admit up to it.  What that "bored" person is really conveying is: "I need an adrenaline rush to get over my laziness."

Very true. Or you can't think of something to do.

Check with your mom or dad...they'll think of something.  One thing my kids are quickly learning not to say:  "I'm bored" or "I'm restless/I have too much energy."

There is always something to clean.   8)

The way Gabe explained it to me when he stopped by our playgroup's tournament last month was this: They don't explicitly take the New Card Ideas and turn them into cards, but if they happen to use the same verse then the card they create will most likely be very similar to the one in NCI since both will be derived from the theme of said verse.

Sadly, no. I don't know why they don't take advantage of the great resource, though.

Yeah, really. They could just playtest some of the cards that they think are most interesting and adjust accordingly. Seems like that would be much easier than making everything up from scratch.

That reminds me of a blond joke (apologies in advance to any blonds on this forum). The front of a t-shirt reads: "How do you keep a blond busy? Turn t-shirt over." The back of said t-shirt reads: "How do you keep a blond busy? Turn t-shirt over."

So, if you attempted to throw the card down on the table, it would keep spinning until Armageddon.
