New Redemption Grab Bag now includes an assortment of 500 cards from five (5) different expansion sets. Available at Cactus website.
Just one note...The gaming area is in the same room and in view of the Redemption playing area. This will greatly restrict the games that will be played. Last year, we had a parent complain about their child being able to see Super Smash Brothers Brawl, which is about the upper limit of where we want to go during the official tournament hours. So the off-hours gaming will run from about half an hour after the Friday sessions concludes (guessing 10:30 pm) through 7:00 am or so on Saturday morning, T- and reasonable M-rated games will be allowed. For the rest of the time you need to choose from amongst the variety of games SSBB and milder for video diversions.
I'll be bringing Cooking Mama. I'm just disappointed we don't get to play l4d :c.
I have asked for an expert opinion from JSB on what games should be allowed. I did tell him that I didn't think a church was a good place for zombies or other forms of the undead* and that seeing blood made me a bit woozy. That pretty much explains the basis for his list above.I will clarify that "Halo" means "any version of Halo."*I told JSB the undead rule also applied to board games, and he is highly disappointed he can't bring his new favorite game (pictured below). He's taking this all pretty hard, so please don't stir up any further trouble. Also The Ungame is banned. Please do not ask why, and do not argue with me.
mjb, im assuming the restriction list applies mostly in part to m-rated games, correct? we are free to play any rated T or below game as long as it follows your other rules (no undead), correct?
Can we play during ours if we play down stairs in the sleeping rooms? That way there is no rlk walking around. Can we play L4D2 than (zombie game)?

The church does indeed have Wi-Fi, but I am not sure if it is available for public use.
I'm not a rlk, am I?
Quote from: KoalaKingofFortressAlstad on July 23, 2010, 11:51:46 AMI'm not a rlk, am I?No. But I will personally ensure that you are disallowed from playing Halo. Mom would only let us play GoldenEye with paintballs when I was your age. So it's only fair.
