Grapes has so many cool applications! Another way I like to use it is in a side battle between 2 evil characters. If one was the blocker it almost guarantees your Hero rescues a Lost Soul.
Mayhem has the same kind of amazing versatility. It can refill your hand, generate a Lost Soul or attempt to shuffle away the battle winner an opponent planned to use when they pushed an initiative character into battle.
