NASCAR - PreRace Prayer

I'm not a nascar fan at all, but was watching the pre-race stuff on ESPN for the race today (TV almost always is on ESPN).  Just think if all sports did a prayer before the event.  Nascar is really getting this one thing right.  Here was today's prayer before the race.

-----------------------------------------------------

Randy Norris (Alabama Raceway Ministries)

"God we come to you today, thanking you for this beautiful day in Talladega Super Speedway. God I pray for our service men and woman serving here and around the world. I think you today for each driver, the crew members, track personel, and every fan here. God may we have a safe and exciting race. God, as we watch this chase for the championship, remind us, there is a greater prize to be won and that is the prize of knowing you, Jesus, as Saviour and Lord. Thank you for loving us, dying for us, and rising again. I pray it in Jesus name, amen."
