True, very true.  I wish I had been there to see it on the big screen for the first time.

True, very true.  I wish I had been there to see it on the big screen for the first time.

It was amazing. I remember seeing the original back in 1977 as a 9-year-old. It was the first movie that I had ever seen in a cinema. All the other movies I had seen were at the Drive-In. I waited in line for hours..... twelve times! I couldn't get enough.

After each showing, my friends and I immediately grabbed a wrench and went to the nearest guy wire for a power line and banged on them to make the laser gun sounds.

Ahhhh..... sweet memories....  ;D
My wife is a hottie.

YMT should be an Elder, unless he lacks facial hair.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy (10, on DVD and maybe Blu-ray since I don't have/follow Blu-ray).

Highlights include gigantic epic battles, no language (that I remember, and that's wonderous considering it's a huge blockbuster), and AMAZING story line.
I'm sorry I crammed 11 cookies in the VCR.

Goldmember.
This movie has tons of comedic scenes and great action too. Even though it is dumbed down for Austin Powers. If you like comedy movies...this is it

And lots of sexual references... And lots of language... And I'm pretty sure it's rated R...

And a severe lack of Tom Bombadil.  I'll give it a 7.

LotR is miles better than Avatar. How dare you give them the same rating! Despite the lack of Bombadil and the Scourging of the Shire, it's still a perfect 10.

I agree. However, my father, a master actor, read all four books to me.  It was an incredible experience, and the movies were nothing compared to that.  I've got nothing to compare Avatar to.

So you claim LotR is a meh 7 just because the books were better?

Please remove distric 9 from the list as it violates the forum rules (also, why would you recommend a movie on a Christian forums that has about an average of one 'F' word per minute).
