What's your ideal first hand?

This didn't really fit anywhere else on the board.


What 8 cards (or less if you can't think of a full 8) would you love to draw on your first turn of a game?  I'll post mine later on after a few others have had their say.

2 Other Cards:)

Draw three lost souls... Which probably will mean that i will probably choose for my opponent to go first. i have three dominants for three lost souls, guardian for protection, and not many people could block Jacob+Captain until they get set up.  It would be nice to have a four lost soul cushion:)

I once had a hand where I drew 6 of my 8 doms.  SoG,NJ, Burial, CM, AotL, FA.  I also drew Moses and gold enhancement too.

Depending on my deck, I might want to take out all my cards that aren't demons, plus TGoH. Any other combo that needs setting up would be good to have all the cards for in the first hand.

I used to get Miriam out against my one friend's egyptian defense deck every game we played, that was pretty awesome. :O

I don't really have a preffered hand, but there are cards I hate getting. For example, it seems like every game I play I draw the lost soul that sets a hero aside on my first turn. :'(

That would be a devastating first hand.

Follow that up with a temple, Lampstand, and your Generous widow (after Davids harp) and then the Harp becomes virtually untouchable until you clear them out.
