Yes, it did. I understood it!

I am curious as to how it will effect how the Captain America and Thor movies are going to be... both of those (I hope not) could be... unviolenced, lol. It's not a word... but it gets the point across.  ;)

I don't think this will change things much.  I'm guessing a main reason for this is Disney can now expand to a new disney cartoon network that has all the marvel stuff on it.
I never want to grow up, hmmm maybe thats why I'm a youth pastor.

There will be no immediate changes. All existing movie contracts will be honored. Those movies have been in the works for years, so they will be unchanged.

The Universal Studios rides will also be unchanged. Disney said it would honor Universal's contract with Marvel which means that no amusement park east of the Mississippi can use the Marvel names on rides. Disneyland in CA is allowed to add some Marvel rides, as well as the overseas parks, just not here in Orlando.

Interestingly, if Universal continues to keep the perpetual contract with Marvel/Disney, Disney would have access to all Universal financial data, which was part of Marvel's contract to make sure that they were getting proper royalties.  :o

where have you been? marvel dose not have the rights to GI Joe or transformers comics any more.  A company called IDW http://www.idwpublishing.com/ dose but Hasbro owns the all the copyrights to transformers (in the us any way) and G.I. Joe

as far as the rest
