Tipton, ever hear of "Drama Queen?"  Because you are in danger of becoming one.... ::)

Seriously, stop the insanity, Tracer is not the first to leave the game and he wont be the last and fankly, what does that have to do with anyone else?

Personally I play for my own reasons and I will continue to play as long as those reasons work.

I play because:
1. I like the game - Frankly I LOVE the competition and IMO, if it doenst get at least a little bit heated then you are doing it WRONG!  but the great thing is that, even when people dissagree (sometimes strenuously dissagree) they can still respect each other as christians.
2. I like how it reinforces scripture in my life and those around me.  There are numerous times the preacher will say something about "blah blah blah "..and ABLE'S SACRIFICE..." blah blah blah ... and I will lean over to my wife and say.. Green enhancemetn that makes all enhancemnts CBN!!  Yeah she really likes that
3. I like the community.  See #1.  I am competitive, but I can compete with a group who loves me wether I sink or swim

Crustpope, i agree with #1 #2 lol, but i don't have a wife/gf so i couldn't say i lean over and tell her, and don't call a boy a drama queen, i find it rude considering a queen is a girl.

First of all it is a joke.  If you he cant deal with it he probably needs to get thicker skin.  Second of all, I have no idea that he is a boy.  There is nothing on his profile that I can find that indicates he is either boy or girl.

Third.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Do you think Jesus "joked" on his disciples as such and then told them they need to get thicker skin?.......Just curious?

DMM, he was using a colloquial phrase to describe someone. It's no more insulting than calling him a girl because he's scared of a roller coater - in both cases, he isn't actually being called a girl.

wow..this is interesting...I was going to respond that yes I do  believe that jesus made jokes with his disciples.  afterall, humor is an intregal part of the human experience.  I was furthermore going to say that If He offended someone that he would apologize just like I would...but since Tipton hasnt complained, I dont see anything wrong yet......

BUT! then I wondered, did jesus offend someone in this way?  Often humor can hurt people in a personal way. I dont think offending people is a sin because if it is, then Jesus offended a lot of saducees and pharisiees and such and would therefore be a sinner.  So is offending someone due to making jokes a sin?

most of us would agree that sometimes humor can be  harmful but when does it become a sin?

I never found jesus a joker, i always found him just say what he thought. therefor, what he said to the sadducees/pharisees is the truth, which in that time, it was.

DMM I did not say that what Jesus said to the Pharisees and Saducees wasn't the truth, I said it offended them, so simply offending someone cannot be a sin, for if it is, then Jesus sinned.

That being said, are you saying that Jesus did not joke at all?  He did not laugh/have a sense of humor/.....?

I think it's important to point out that Jesus offended different groups of people differently.  The only people who Jesus actually offended by insulting them (ie. brood of vipers, whitewashed tombs, etc.) were the ones who claimed to be religious leaders.  Other people were sometimes offended by Jesus silence (King Herod at Jesus' trial), or his questions (the Samaritan woman at the well), or even his refusal to put on a show (the crowd in John 6:66).  But Jesus didn't seem to ever insult people (even jokingly) except hypocritical religious leaders.

I find it very hard to believe that it was at the expense of another
If you he cant deal with it he probably needs to get thicker skin.

That is most definetly NOT Jesus.

I believe he may have offended others, but that offense orignated not from intentional pain, but from the light being shown revealing sin for its true being which is death.  They took offense to thinking that they (Teachers of the law and therefore more pious than any other) were sinful.

You are comparing apples to oranges and it doesn't work.  I agree with you that Jesus had humor, but he did not have humor at the expense of another.

(get the picture) it was SUPPOSED to by over dramatic.
