Windows Administrator Help

I changed some settings on my computer last week and added an account. I thought I changed which account was administrator but I found out yesterday that neither account is set as administrator. I have tried to change one of them but when the little window pops up to enter the "add/change" account there isn't a place to enter a password as if there were an administrator.
Anyone know how to help me out?

Do you know if you still have the hidden admin account?

Press F8 during startup, and choose Safe Mode.

Or just search for hours, give up, and frustratedly smash you head on your keyboard.
A file should come up solving your problem.
This had worked for me in multiple situations.
