My guess is that it is either:

1 - gone temporarily because Zardeck recently had to move his entire RC to a different server

or

2 - gone permanently because Zardeck hasn't found a way to implement the bells and whistles without seriously slowing down the regular forum functions.

speaking of regular function we want our search back

I haven't used the search function here on the forum forever anyway.  A much better way to search for me has been to use Google.

I just type what I want to search in quotes and then put the site.  It quickly finds what I need.  For instance I recently searched for:

wikipedia nature site:cactusgamedesign.com

and it took me right to the post that I needed from years ago giving support to Wikipedia that I needed for a thread today

considering the card search connects to RC! which has been down quite often lately, it's probably not a good idea to have the card search enabled at the current time. When RC! goes down the card search could crash the boards since it can't connect to RC! when it's down.

I would assume he's probably busy with getting ready for college and working on other projects.
