I loved them years ago, but now, I don't like the direction LEGO has gone.

Why? can u please explain, rather than giving these vague statements. GEEZ man! I mean come on!!

Did they turn more hazardous? Did it become more obscene? WAs it being sexually offensive? Was LEGO having deragatory pieces being created? So what is this direction ur talkng  about...

Please post fully rather than giving statements like that!!! Thankyou... the board appreciates.

I have no idea what he was referring to, but I don't like Bionacle at all. But then when Lego does make a regular set, there are far too many super-specialized pieces. I miss the old-school castles and space sets.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Amen brother. Those were the good old days of Lego, and the ones I grew up on.  ;D

that is exactly what I mean.  Instead of selling LEGO bricks you can use your imagination with, they sell sets that are not compatible with each other, the sets are worldly, and they are EXPENSIVE.  That is my problem.

By giving "statements like that" as you say, I can see if you are interested before spending an hour smashing my hands into the keyboard.

Cam. . .that really isn't an excuse.  If they ARE interested, then you do have to explain anyways, meaning another un-needed post.  Thats kinda how the boards get littered.  And I don't understand why you just disagree with everything, or say "I don't care" when you don't need to.  If you don't care, please don't post.  It starts arguments.

I don't mean to be kicking you, but I think you should think before you post, and I KNOW I do too, cause alot of my posts are unneccesary as well.  I'll work on my post's if you work on yours :P

Yeah I used to like lego... it's fun just to build random stuff. But I agree, I don't like the direction lego has taken. They hardly have anything available anymore, what they do have is really expensive, and they don't have just the random fun castle, underwater, pirates etc. sets that they used to. I think I still have a pirate ship, a ton of the original star wars ship versions, and a bunch of other old sets in those boxes... I should pull em out sometime and see what I have.

Yeah, every time they make another 10 inch, 5 piece set, I get kind of annoyed.

In other words, I don't like all these big, wierd-shaped pieces.

The older sets were definately nicer, and more worth their money.

Back when Knights Kingdom first came out around 2000, I collected every single set except one tiny one in the series. It was so cool...Now I can build like a giant seige battle thing...it's tight.

I quit before the movie sets came out, but know I wished I could have done that.

Sounds fun....

When I get my own house I am going to have one room be the LEGO room.  Everything in said room will be made out of LEGO pieces. The floor, ceiling, and anything else.  It will be glorious.
