I'm assuming this is for ToR?  If so, what's wrong with the 9800 GTX?  Mine runs everything ever at max graphics + 1.

Lag in the first flashpoint, some videos did not load at the end of it...had to abandon, let my team get a companion for that fight, and then come back to the starship to complete mission...

Huh.  That doesn't sound like video card, more like drivers/codecs.

Well I updated the drivers, we'll see what happens...in the meantime, which one would you go with? The 560 seems like the next price point for using for 4-5 years like my 9800...

My wife's AMD has ATI, I was told once that Intel chipsets were better for NVIDIA, is that no longer the case?

No that is still usually the case, and without knowing your specific chipset I can't even tell you which ATI cards would be compatible with your mommy board. If you could provide that I can further evaluate your best options.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

yes you do
(The PCIEx16 and PCIEx8 slots support ATI CrossFireX technology and conform to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)

Ok, I misread that.  4GB sounds good.

So, now that we have concluded that I have enough RAM :P, which card should I be considering? or should I instead wait for the http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/32769-gigabyte-geforce-gtx-560-ti-448/?page=2 in an interesting model?

I'd just pass on that card altogether for the most part. It doesn't provide many advantages over the GTX 570 and not to mention it's HUGE. There aren't a whole lot of cases that thing will fit in. If your sold on that card though just get a RadeoD 6950 twice the memory almost twice the 4x the processing cores, double the core clock speed and 50 bucks less.
