There are snowball fights in the land of fire and brimstone... The Detroit Lions just ended their 19 game loosing streak today. Poor Redskins fans.

In other news, the Ravens utterly destroyed the Browns.  ;D

Aww. Getting back to back perfect seasons would have been way cooler than winning a game.

The Vikings game was pretty awesome...  ::)

Man, this is serious upset week.

First the Lions win, then the Steelers loose to the Bengals. I love this.  ;D

correction. Vikings are beasts. not to mention that they have a awesome running back named Adrian Peterson.
but their quarterback (Favre... whoever that is...) made a good play.

That's funny... cause Brett Favre has more touchdowns than Adrian Peterson... hm... ;) in Fact... Adrian Peterson hasn't even scored the past two games... that's interesting...  ::)

Pfft!  Vikings lucked out.  They barely beat the 49ers at home who were without their main weapon, Gore.  If they meet again in the playoffs, the 49ers will dominate.  Bank on it.

And yes, I've made a full recovery.   ;)

how long has Peterson been playing compared to Favre? also, Favre is a selfish person who will take it in for a touchdown instead of giving it to AP. as he's done for his whole career.

And in other news, the Broncos are undefeated without a quarterback.

What else could happen this season?

I'm sorry Wraith but you're completely wrong, Favre is a playmaker, Did you know who Greg Lewis was before sunday? I doubt it. Favre has been making WR and TE carrer's ever since he joined the leauge, also - He hands off to A.P. and Chester Taylor for that matter whenever it's called, and makes sense too. Favre isn't stupid with playcalling. He may be stupid with his throws occasionally, but not playcalling.

but he likes running it in for a touchdown. you have to admit that.

LOL, the Browns don't have a QB either and the Dolphins have to go with another Chad at QB.

It totally flew over my head when I first posted, but isn't it interesting it's a Florida team that has a bunch of QBs named "Chad"?!

Really Wraith? Brett Favre has broken almost every record there is to break, and has been having a great season. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

And being selfish? He doesn't make the calls.

I just don't like him. for a number of reasons.
A. he was on the Packers all those years.
B. he said he was retiring, until after training camp, and then decided to join up. seriously?

also, Favre sometimes makes his own calls. how many QB's score touchdowns? not many. how many managers tell the QB's to do a sneak instead of letting the running back take it? not many.
so yeah, he's good. but I don't like him.

A. So you don't like him because he was on a team? Wow, that's a pretty low level to judge a person on.
B. You don't like that he made a choice, then changed his mind after realizing his love for the game and wanted to continue playing? That's like saying you don't like someone just because they quit Redemption and then came back and started playing again.

Yes Favre does make his own calls on certain occasions, but they generally turn out great. Yes, he does score touchdowns and not many other QB's do that. Those are touchdowns for the team, without risking fumbles, sacks, stops, interceptions, etc... Favre is a very athletic QB and thus he has the ability to run it in for a touchdown. That greatness is something that seperates him from the rest.

All of your reasons for not liking Favre have no supportive points. Fact is, you just don't like him and have no reason. So please do not argue just because you don't like him.

A. YES. I'm not a big football fan, but I'm a die hard anti-packers fan. (Even though my high school mascot is the packers... ...) Vikings and Packers were a strong rivalry. at the center of the Packers team was Favre. and now he's switched sides?
B. you honestly think that's true? how many times is he going to change his mind? I believe he did this last year too. said he was retiring and then didn't, that is. so the Jets got him.
C. I think he's an awesome QB. but I wish he wasn't our QB. so long as we still had a good one...

Have you guys EVER had a good QB?  ;) ::)

So just to clarify, you don't like Michael Jordan or Emmit Smith either right?

I can see where you're coming from and I'm not the biggest fan of his flip-flopiness. I also am kinda mad at the Packers. They did the same thing to Brett Favre as the Chargers did to Brees and are doing to Tomlimson. If you have a bad year, or they have a younger player waiting, you're out. I think it's lame.

I LOVED the Packers when Mike Scherman was head coach... *sigh* I still love the packers... but don't like the new management.

Culpepper was ok.

Emmit Smith, no. Michael Jordan is ok...

Packers are the Yankees of football.
I guess New England could be considered that too...

Why? Michael Jordon was retired for a year and THEN came back to play.

Packers can't be the Yankees unless they start winning.  :D

I don't like Michael Jordan. After he quit basketball he signed with the Birmingham Barons, a minor league team of the Chicago White Sox. Being a die hard Twins fan, I don't like any players that had played for the Sox (or Brewers) unless they played with the Twins later.
