church at home

im currently unable to go to my church tonight for their "2nd sunday" and it brought up an interesting topic to discuss.
I've never done this before as far as having church at home im trying to think of ways to have church at home so it's a new thing for me and I would like to make it a habit to do so.
I pray that not only I would be encouraged to do so but for others to be encouraged too if their unable to go to church to have church in the comfort and privacy of their own home and have personal one on one time with God, so my question being; how does someone have church at home?

If someone is unable to go to church that is one thing.  But choosing to do so on a regular basis so that you can enjoy the "comfort and privacy of your own home" is NOT Biblical.  The point of church is NOT for us to have a good time.  The point of church is for us to bring glory to God.  And although we can certainly do that as individuals during the week, corporate worship brings glory to God in some ways that cannot be duplicated as individuals.

I didn't mean it like that. normally my church DOESNT have sunday night services and I don't think they have Wednesday night services either SOOOOOO yeah, that's why I say that but that doesn't mean im gonna avoid going to sunday school and church sunday morning service. and im well aware that the point of church isn't for us to have a good time, im not looking to have one. I know it's for us to give God the glory. though it's not wrong for one to enjoy the pleasure of worshipping and giving God the glory at church. I never meant to sound like I was gonna avoid church all together

Why not find another church to worship with when your church is not avaliable. We have people do that at our church all the time.
Two wrongs don't make a right but three rights make a left. Either way, God will get you there.

That's a good idea.  My family goes to a church on Sunday mornings that also doesn't have an evening service.  So we go to another local church on Sunday evenings.  We've been doing that for 9 years, and really feel like we're a part of both churches.
