Well as some of you have seen I started posting and commenting on here again. And I thought I would make it official and say I'm coming back to play the game and try and get the another play group going. I'm trying to figure out what to buy to get back into the game. I have every card up to 2011 sets (I believe) and the new I/J trial deck. What set should I get now or should I wait till Cloud of Witness to drop? What are the sets that came out after the 2011 FooF and RoA tin expansion? My only option is to buy complete sets since we do not have a place locally to buy packs.

The Early Church set and Persecuted Church set have also been released. If you plan to get both it's certainly easiest to buy complete sets. However, the Early Church packs also include 6 cards from FooF/RoA so buying EC packs is a great way to build up an extra supply of those. Likewise the Persecuted Church packs include a rare or Ultra-rare from the out of print Warriors set though it's just 1 per pack.

Also the three newest sets have a new good brigade, (clay). Both early and pedicured church have a healthy emphasis on the brigade. The foundation of clay comes from those two sets.

Ok I am Which of the 3( i know we dont know a whole lot about Cloud of Witness ) should i start with? im going to get a complete set of either.

Early church is the best in my opinion.

Any reason why?

You get great new clay cards, strong boosts for romans, greeks, and some other defenses, and you get tin cards.

Get set up on lackey. It is a free way to play redemption online and you get access to every card in the game to deck build. Experiment with the sets you are unfamiliar with and pick the ones that best suite you. Plus if you do that you can get a better idea of what cards will be in the cloud set just by waiting a bit longer.

Ill have to look into Lackey!

I guess the Disciples took Jesus washing their feet a little too seriously. ;)
I take it that their biggest threat came from the Roman foot soldiers. :o
