I like the picture and gave you a + 1, but you are fostering mispronunciation of trigonometric functions. It's bad enough that my students say "sin" instead of "sine."   :P

Sine divided by tangent = cosine, the abbreviation for which is cos. add in the variable and it's cos b which can be mispronounced cosby

Maybe they're pronouncing cosine correctly and Cosby incorrectly.

My personal favorite is doing Calculus problems when I am on an airplane. You have a person on each side of you sitting so close that they cannot help but watch what you are doing.

Them: "Wow. That looks really hard. You must be smart."
Me: "They're not hard. They're actually quite fun. I'll trade you some Calculus problems for your smoked almonds."
