The second part worked out great for me, but the first part .... not so good. I had emergency oral surgery to remove three of my wisdom teeth, one of which was infected terribly. The dentist said that I probably did not notice the damage for the last month because I was on antibiotics and cough syrup with codeine the whole time while I was fighting a nagging upper-respiratory infection. I'm beginning to think they were both interrelated. So my past few days have seen lots and lots of Jello, apple sauce, and mashed potatotes.

Well, I'm glad to hear you had a great time, but the phrase "Emergency Oral Surgery" just strikes fear in the heart of the strongest men.  I'm praying for you to have a quick recovery, and make sure to save some leftovers!
