Neither did I. I've heard one of their singles off the album (not Monster, but the other one -- the name escapes me at the moment). All in all, I wasn't impressed. Generally, I'm more a fan of Skillet's softer songs (i.e. Rest, A Little More, One Real Thing, etc.) than their harder songs, but I kind of consider the Comatose CD to be their magnum opus. I don't know if they'll ever be able to top it.

True that. Was the single you were thinking of "Live Free or Let Me Die" ? That's an awesome song.

I havent heard this album yet, but I still think one of my favorites by them is Collide. His voice is pretty effective for that harder sound.

Comatose is good, but I felt like there was definately some filler tracks.

I agree. That CD was 100% awesome. Every song is great, and I've probably listened to Comatose (the song) a good 100+ times. Along with Yours to Hold.  :)

The music I could listen to all day long belongs in the prog metal genre.  :P Black Clouds and Silver Linings from Dream Theater being one of the best examples.

TheatER. That always bugs a true DT fan.  :P

Nope, but they arent bad either. They just happen to write my favorite music ever.

Also, Why wasnt Live Free or Let Me die put on Comatose to begin with? This song is awesome.

Relient K's new album drops October 6, but it's sad that they don't have any more main stream success.

Actually, now that someone's mentioned it, the song that I heard was Hero.

+1 Comatose is one of the only CD's that I enjoy listening to every track on the album. Most CD's have one or two songs (sometimes more) that I skip over, but every song on Comatose, in my opinion, is a great song.

 +1

Comatose was probably my least fav of skillet (either that or collide).  I usually skip a few of songs on Comatose (Yours To Hold, Older I Get, and Those Nights).

My all time fav from Skillet is Invincible.  I have listened to that for hours a pond hours straight.

haven't heard the new CD, but I think Collide is still their best. Comatose has a few awesome songs, like Comatose, Whispers in the Dark, Those Nights, and Last Night, but other than that, I don't care for it.

The main two I like are Rebirthing and Comatose. The rest are par.
