Having to type in log in password twice to log in to forums issue

I have noticed ever since a few years ago whenever I type in my correct password to log in to the forums it says "incorrect password" and clears the password box. Then when I type the password all over again (the second time) , it logs in.

Has anyone else ever experienced this before? I am having to type in my password twice every time I would like to log in to the forums


Does anyone have any ideas why the logging in option is doing this??

This only ever happened to me when I was using a "saved password" on my computer or phone. It had saved a space at the end of my password, which was rejected. Then I had to actually type it in, which I of course did without the space, so it worked.

After I corrected the "saved password," I have not had any problems.
