Well, for one, they're against the rules.  For two, no one's started one in a while.

I was being sarcatic, obviously you're not new here but the general idea of "fun" is banned by the rules of this forum (no spam, no trolling, stay on topic)

Oh. Text has no emotion(unless you use Caps lock)so sometimes its hard to tell if people are being sarcastic.

Not Exactly. If the Subject of a Thread is Off topic than It is impossible to go off topic unless you talk about off topicness

I Encouraged another members Idea of a "Fun" Board, which was Met with Mostly Positive Attitudes and Agreement But Oddly Was Not Acted on. Perhaps It was Because of the the Technological Implications (E.g. All Posts in the Fun board Would not count towards post count), but of this I am uncertain

having messed around with simple machines forums I can tell you this is literally just a matter of unchecking a check box while making new boards. So there should be no opposition from any technical aspect.
