I heard about that. I also heard that, despite being 58, Jeff Bridges will return to reprise his role from the original Tron, and that the new Tron will be just as ground-breaking as the first.

personally i found the announcement of 300 II at sdcc far more interesting than this.

I didn't. They're talking about bringing back King Leonidas (sp?)... boooooooooooo. Let that movie be what it was, an awesome one off.

Even if the movie never comes out, it was worth waiting 27 years just to see that trailer.

I wonder if they'll also get Journey to do the soundtrack again.

I'm assuming the animation is supposed to be slightly less than realistic? I only ever saw about half of the original movie, so maybe I should watch that now.

It's not the final animation, just a proof of concept.

I never saw the original film, either.  With all the references in Chuck, I've been thinking that I need to watch it.
