It is pretty neat, but I really question if it'll save as much time as they say it will. Also, it can be sorta distracting while you're typing.

It must be, or you would have spelled that last word correctly. ;)

I absolutely hate it!  I've always found Google's search suggestions to be annoying.  Now I can't even turn them off.  My choices are now annoying search suggestions or the newfangled REALLY annoying ones.  I've changed my homepage to Blackle until they let me turn off the suggestions.
Epic pouting maneuver!

Does anyone even go to google anymore? Just type what you want to search into your address bar n00b.

I thoroughly dislike the perdition thing....  It was bearable when it was just giving suggests underneath...now it's actually trying to load it before I'm done typing?!  WHY!??!   :'(  The first time I saw it, I was like "AH!  Woah!  What'ssss go'in on her'?!  I'm noot doon!  Stoop it!  STOOP IT, I SAY!"  (And yes, I do talk to myself like that when no one else is around....  ;D)

I like it.  Lifehacker found out that it'll save the average person 7 hours over the course of their lifetime.

seems really cool.  I think the new REG could use that feature if it's possible to add.

The thing about the REG is you type in exactly what you're looking for and you still have to search through the left side panel and find it again.  If a custom search would fix that, i'm all for it.

Google also tries to sell stuff, but they don't alter their search results, and the text ads are removable.

I never see popups on bing or google. As for why I left google for bing google looks boring and bing looks exciting.
