That, and you don't want her to associate her being angry with you giving gifts.  That's trouble all around

Hit the nail on the head.

The one time I messed up in my last relationship (and it was something really, really stupid), I simply drove over to her house unanounced, brought her sweet tea (something I knew was her favorite), and we just sat there and talked through everything. The night ended very well and I was glad I made the choice to drive over there.

Don't listen to the nay sayers in this thread. Money can buy anything: Forgiveness, happiness, love, etc etc. You just need enough money. I suggest buying her a dolphin. How can anybody be sad/angry at you/disappointed in you/etc when you just gave them a DOLPHIN?!?!

ooo, she went golfing today. perhaps golf clubs?

Do you seriously want to arm her with a bagful of weapons?  Think that one through because, in my opinion, if she gets the slightest idea that your just giving her the clubs because she's mad at you, this is what I see: You running down the driveway with her in tow swinging a 9-iron like a madman and you ending up on the 6 o'clock news like Tiger Woods...

True, in a situation where the other party is upset at you, it's not best to simply give them a gift.  If anything, whatever you choose to do, should involve both of you participating together and having ample opportunity to talk about the situation.  My honest suggestion?  Think of a nice fancy restaurant that you know she would love (Perhaps candlelight/to-go if her favorite place to eat isn't fancy/quiet), blindfold her, tell her you have a surprise for her, and say your taking her somewhere (Unless it's home... you can still blindfold her etc, but just get rid of the line where you're taking her somewhere).  Then, once you reveal the "surprise" and get situated, ask her what you can do to fix what you did wrong and apologize for what you did if you haven't already.  This will show that you don't intend to fix the problem with a night out, but rather, that you simply wanted a nice place to talk about what happened.  As men/males/guys, we need to be able to "man-up" and discuss our problems.  (Ladies are usually big on communication).  It may seem a bit hard, but talking is what needs to be done, and if they (Ladies) know that discussing things like that is difficult for you, they will appreciate an attempt to talk about what happened more than any gift you could give them.

**Just a suggestion and in no way can I guarantee success.  Every person is uniquely different and may respond differently.  While Advice may work for some, it is not for everyone and you should consult The Love Doctor (God) before putting any plan into action.  Advice is not intended to cure, diagnose, or treat any disease.  These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and all participation is at your own risk.**

I'd totally forgive you if you gave me a dolphin.  But first, you'd need to do something forgiveable.

Don't be mean unless you've got a dolphin handy.

I've never realized how hard it is to type "dolphin" until this post.

thanks for all the great advise and support guys. me and her are doing alot better now that we did some good talking.

now all i gotta do is surprise her later next week with that extra special present. im currently leaning towards making the little balsa wood charm and making her cookies (even though im a terrible cook)...and the dolphin if i can find a place to keep it. ;)

If she's not allergic to peanut butter, try this:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter (Chunky is better)
enough water/oil that it mixes

bake at 350, until tasty.

Simple, tasty, gets the job done

congrats

ps- depending on how much time you want to spend, you can always go with a harder type of wood. It would be more durable than balsa and might cost less as well. just fyi

Nope.  It's really easy for novice cooks

He's a Strikeout master, thus "Master K".  The chef part is due to his "sizzling" fastball.

Not to criticize SomeKittens, but (to me) it seems like his recipe would create fire, not cookies.

1 Devil's Food Cake Mix
2 eggs
Bit 'O Water (or Vodka. Your call)
Half cup of shortening
Powdered sugar

Combine everything, mix. Shape into fairly small balls. Roll in the powdered sugar. Bake at 375 until they're delicious (8 mins or so).

Thats a real cookie recipe... om nom nom

I've made it several times, once for my (then pre-)ex-girlfriend.  They turn out dry and crumbling, but are really good if you make sure to add enough water.

Homemade sure does taste better, but will it get you more out of the doghouse?  I doubt it.  Just saying "I made these for you" should be enough.

Chocolate Crackle. Quick (shouldn't take more than 15 minutes) and delicious.

Vodka makes everything taste better. Try vodka vodka....
