I wonder what all the people smugly driving around with "When Bush took office, gas was $1.46" bumper stickers must be thinking now.
The slowdown is global, meaning reduced demand in China, which along with India has been one of the driving forces behind the rising cost of oil per barrel.
Gas usually goes down right before a presidents end term. It'll go right back up
I'd imagine they're thinking that trashing the the global economy to lower gas prices is probably not such a good deal. Those smug people are like that.
