So that's 3-for-3 with USC and "letdown" games.  Glad we could set you guys up for that.  :/

I don't know if Washington is very good. A 16-13 win isn't a high scoring game. I still can't believe they beat USC though. Maybe this is the turnaround year. Although can you really follow a no-win season with something much better?

In the first game, Washington outgained highly ranked LSU in total yards by 478-320. They kept the game close, but had to settle for too many FGs. In the second game, they scored 42 points against a team that they were supposed to beat (Idaho), but had not been beating in recent years. Now, they defeat the highly ranked top contender for their division.

Granted, their new head coach was a former USC coordinator, but the talent is obviously there and this kind of win will help recruiting. I think UW will have a great year this year. They have set up the possiblity of PAC-10 champs.

I'm just excited to be able to wear my Husky jacket and sweatshirt with out having Oregon and Oregon St. fans laughing at me.  Jake Locker is the real deal at QB.  Alot of top commentators have talked about him being a first round draft pick if he can stay healthy.  The team has experience and a chip on its shoulder, so hopefully this is a big turn around season.  6-6 at the end of the season is good enough for me as a Husky fan. A bowl appearance would be amazing.
I never want to grow up, hmmm maybe thats why I'm a youth pastor.

.....or Idaho and Nevada fans laughing.....  ;)

I think a bowl game is a lock at this point. To hang tough against one ranked opponent and defeat another means you have a bowl contender. I think the confidence is back. it's just another year or so before Washington is bane of every Florida team.
