Dear Redemption Family,

I hope you are having a great day. I know I am.

I am currently in my 4th semester at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA. One of the most invaluable tools to my spiritual well being on campus has been my involvement with the Coalition for Christian Outreach - CCO. CCO runs campus outreaches all across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Each year, the CCO hosts the Jubilee Conference. It's a huge event - over 2500 students are expected to attend this year! Going to Jubilee last year was one of the highlights of my freshman year - it really enabled me to grow closer to God through speakers and corporate worship while encouraging growth in the depth of interpersonal relationship with the other students and leaders that attended.

Each campus CCO ministry raises their own funds to get this events. The cost of an individual to attend the conference is around 250 dollars, but the CCO only asks student pay somewhere between 50-75 dollars. The remaining funds are donated or raised through other means. At Robert Morris, one of our fundraising oppurtunities is the raffle off of a quilt put together by a counselor on campus.  I would ask, if you are able, to consider purchasing raffle ticket(s) to help us get to Jubliee! Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5 dollars.

Here is the Jubilee website if you'd like to check it out for yourself first:
http://www.jubileeconference.com/

Because none of you live in the Pittsburgh Area, were you to win the quilt, I will pay to ship it to you personally.

But, that's not all. I will be holding a Redemption related raffle among everyone who purchases tickets from me through this posting. Here's how it will work: the more people, the better card(s) show up in the raffle.

10 dollars or less: Unholy Writ
15 dollars: Destruction of Nehushtan
20 dollars: Destruction of Nehushtan AND Unholy Writ (as seperate prizes)
25 dollars: Grapes of Wrath AND Unholy Writ (as seperate prizes)
30 dollars: Grapes of Wrath AND Unholy Writ AND Destruction of Nehushtan (as seperate prizes)
40 dollars: Grapes of Wrath AND Mayhem (as seperate prizes)
50 dollars: Mayhem AND Faithful Servant (p) (as seperate prizes)
60 dollars: Nicholas of Antioch AND Grapes of Wrath (as seperate prizes)
75 dollars: Grapes of Wrath AND Mayhem AND Faithful Servant (p) (as seperate prizes)
100 dollars+: Grapes of Wrath AND Mayhem AND Nicolas of Antioch AND Faithful Servant (p) (as seperate prizes) with potentially more prizes if it keeps going higher.

So, to clarify:

This raffle's first prize is a handknit quilt. Second prize is multiple Crocheted Hats. If you were to win these prizes, I would pay to ship these items to you.

Based on the amount of tickets I sell to you guys (in dollars), I will be raffling off the cards as seen above in addition to the raffle for the quilt + hats among all the tickets sold across campus.

Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5.

I reserve to right to add additional prizes however I wish to. The above listing is the MINIMUM that will be raffled among you guys at the specified dollar amount.

You can either mail me payment (cash preferred, will also accept checks if you care to write one) or paypal me. PM me if you would like paypal information.

Current Funds Raised: $10

Nice!  I've got a bunch of friends here at Waynesburg who're going/have gone to Jubilee before; I've heard nothing but good things about it.  PM will be sent!

It's a really awesome experience. Thanks for the PM.

I'm a little unsure how exactly postal money orders work. Could you explain them a little?

Let's say ya want to buy a item online. It comes out to $15.00,you go to the Post Office. Say you want a postal money order, you tell them the amount. They'll print in out on a piece of paper with the amount on it. Think of it like you giving the money to someone and them writing you a cashier's check in your name. It for those of us that don't have paypal and are leary of sending cash or a personal check in the mail. You get the money order, you can cash it at the local post office or your bank. Hope that explains it,if you need it explained better. Google United States Post Office-the official website should pop up,look for money orders.

That sounds fine. I just wanted to make sure, since I've never used them before. PM me if you'd like my shipping address.
