The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Twice in Teams at nationals my partner had Rain Becomes Dust up and one person on the other team played Mayhem. Once it was two young girls and I hated seeing one of them have to essentially discard their hand, because of how she reacted to it (that and we really didn't need it to win, it just made it easier)

The second time it was two older players and the one who played it was basically just realized it was his own mistake and kind of laughed it off.

That being said my teammate basically had Rain Becomes Dust up in each game for the entire game (he usually drew it early on and kept it up because it wasn't worth using anything else) which annoyed everyone we played to no end (I'm sure).

I have Mayhem issues too, though they only surface at nationals. ::) But did you get a chance to study the elderly team? Did they mention anything about Judas?  ;)

I did it at NC Regionals (T1 Multi). And I still won that game. ;D. It might have helped they let me make two blocks with a Pharisee band right afterwards.
