And both(well, they're the same) should be refered to as "California." We are on our way to completely forgetting Minnesota folks, so let's just keep it that way. 

I, the self declared spokesman of Minnesota, declare war on California. They have shown their hostile intent and we, as a people CANNOT allow them to finish their evil deeds.

California civil war! (Shotty on the South's side. The South's side is usually the just side. Then again, Southern California probably wouldn't be on the just side so I'll just take the Swiss route).

War generally supports the idea that there will be a struggle, where this is one sided. I move that we call it the "Minnesota Domination", because that is what is going to happen; Minnesota will CRUSH California

Minnesota will CRUSH California

Uhm... apparently you haven't heard that California IS Minnesota. 

And we are not forgetting ourselves. We are forgetting the NAME Minnesota. Not the place, which will now be referred to as California.

And the NAME Minnesota is at war with the NAME California. Not the place, which will now be referred to as Minnesota (the one in the Midwest) and Minnesota the Second (the on on the West Coast)

I feel like making the argument that Minnesota is in any way superior to California is nigh impossible. We have everything awesome, and Minnesota has... lakes. And the Mall of America. And Canada, eh?

Besides, both Chuck Norris and Keifer Southerland (and Jack Bauer, for that matter) live here in Old California.

dude, those guys all live in Minnesota. California ceased to exsist long ago.

this fight is almost as trivial as Minnesota vs. Iowa. Minnesota is obviously won already.
