well no, im saying you can stream netflix on the xbox 360, but i dont think gi joe is available to be streamed; im pretty sure you can only have them send you the disk. thats how it usually is with netflix streaming...you can usually only get the older stuff.
it isn't. it's on my list to be sent soon.

There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence.
In GI Joe, YMT was right that there is some pretty extreme & persistent violence.  However, the film dodged the R because the comic-book quality and instances of violence were not very realistic, although I might be willing to argue against that.

i put far more value in the mpaa ratings board which are trained professionals than i do the opinion of one random parent.

Ha!  The MPAA is a joke.  It was formed to remove restrictions the government had in place to ban nudity, violence, blasphemy, and foul language (among other taboos).  Their goal is to sell movies, as they get a cut of revenues from the studios, and saying that a film is acceptable to as big an audience as possible is in their best interest.

It created PG-13 at Spielberg's request so that he could make a graphically violent movie (Indy 2) that couldn't be viewed by those under 13, but wouldn't lose the audience a 'R' rating would 'scare off'.  The rating was added sloppily and stupidly, as evidenced by having the MPAA vote on whether they want to rate a film PG-13 or not.  After a film is rated G, PG, or R, it is given a vote to see if it should be reclassified as PG-13.  Remember, the people voting are wanting the film to reach as broad an audience as possible!  That is why explicit nudity was permitted in a couple of PG films during the 70s and 80s.

I personally like the ratings done by the US Catholic Bishops' Office for
Film and Broadcasting
, which tends to fall more in line with whether a film is appropriate for each age group.  They give GI Joe an A-III (roughly equivalent to the R rating in that it's for 18+).

thats like saying tetris or super mario could be violent because one could demonstrate dropping blocks on people while the other encourages drug abuse.
It was recently theorized that Super Mario Bros. (41.3% violent) and Pac-Man (61.7% violent) should receive a PG rating, and Galaga (100% violent) and Centipede (92.6% violent) should be R.

I totally don't remember ANY violence in G.I. Joe.

However, I never saw it, that doesnt change the fact that I don't remember any violent scenes.

;)  I'm a bit of a fan of the Hayes code (and films from that era), so I'm annoyed at how much respect people give the MPAA.

It also has the eiffle tower crash into the ground which sadly, but probably killed many. Not really action but world phanomenon.

You would need an old picture of DCTalk in order for that to be TobyMac.  ;)

Trevor has recorded with Toby Mac before. I wouldn't doubt that he could be in a picture with TFK. Teerawk Music has also recorded some of Toby Mac's music. pretty sure they know each other pretty well.

We're talking about an album cover type of picture. If it was just them hangin', then the picture would not be set up like the one posted.
