New Redemption Grab Bag now includes an assortment of 500 cards from five (5) different expansion sets. Available at Cactus website.
none of those were actually portrayed.
It is very violent for a PG-13 movie. There are probably no more than 20 minutes where there is not violence.
I don't equate violence just to blood. A sampling of scenes I felt were too violent for children:1. Guy getting his head cut off.2. Guy getting long metal probes stuck into his skull as the good guys try to tap into his memory for evidence. His head ends up imploding.3. An apparent 9-year-old karate student kills his teacher with a sword.4. The half dozen or so bad guys killed by having a projectile thrust into their eye socket.5. The 374 people killed in the movie.
Regardless of your opinion, you stated that the scenes I mentioned were not portrayed, yet they were. What exactly was the point of your previous post?
...there may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence...
again, the movie doesnt show any of the things you describe explicitly. isnt that the point of a pg-13 rating?

Have you watched it in the past 24 hours? I have.Since when does PG-13 mean anything these days? The raters are just as desensitized as you are.

maybe you're oversensitized.
...I am educated enough to know the difference, but thanks for the insult anyway...

im just saying i put far more value in the mpaa ratings board which are trained professionals than i do the opinion of one random parent.
but you cant go around judging other people because they dont share the same values as you.
Then watch the movie.... just one more time.... for me.
There's more violence than should be expected in a movie about action figures. End of story.
maybe i would...if i could stream it instantly from netflix on my xbox 360...but i dont think i can. its one of those movies anyways thats only good for the intial shock/entertainment value. saw it once at the movies when it first came out, not really that great for a repeat viewing.
