If Albert Pujols, in the same season, was given 100 ABs, none of them with runners on base, he'll be lucky to break 10 RBIs
BA with RISP would work, Don't think OPS helps that much. I'd take a single everytime some1 was in RISP, then hit or miss doubles and HRs. I'm a small ball guy though, not the 3-Run HR guy.Daniel
I said OPS with men on base beings that includes first base. A double or greater has a good chance of scoring a guy on first, but a single has next to no chance (even if the guy on first is Carlos Gomez, Carl Crawford, or Jim Thome). That being said, thats why I kinda put a question mark by it. BA with RISP is the best statistic for clutch imo.
