This morning in Ohio. Caught on a Police Cruiser's camera.

He survived.

It was in Sugarcreek Township, which is apparently just southeast of Dayton.

First he thought he could drive. He couldn't drive very well, so he thought he could fly and drive. He couldn't fly and drive very well, so he crashed. He did that very well, but he is in the hospital now, so nobody would know. But everyone knows because its on video.

What happened that caused that anyway? I mean, the guy rocketed right past a cop, so I would assume this was an accident, but did the guy's accelerator get stuck or what?

Right before the bridge there is a metal divider that he hit. It popped him in the air just enough for him to take flight

A follow up says that there was drugs and alcohol in the car just a few minutes before the crash when he was questioned by the police. I would imagine that one or both of those things were involved in causing this crash.
Cops had arrested and released driver just before crash

Two reasons he lived that I am aware of...

#1 The car spun left so the passenger side hit the bridge support first.
#2 He was not wearing a seat belt and so was thrown from the car before it became a tangled mess of steel.

FACT: I drive that stretch of road at least twice a week.

Remember kids, there's this one freak time where a guy lived because he wasn't wearing his seat belt, so that means you never have to!
(Seat belt saved my life the one car accident I was in.)

I always wear my seatbelt as well. The exception doesn't disprove the rule...
