The 2000 election here in the US was not decided until about a month after the fact. The first time someone ever won without winning the popular vote I believe...

It was actually the 4th time someone won without gaining the poular vote IIRC.

Things I am curious about are strange things like what's on the menu at McDonalds in Australia (if there are McDonalds there)?
What do Ausies think about Crocodile Dundee or Steve Irwin?
Is there really a dislike between Australians and New Zelanders?
How often do you see a Kangaroo?

of course there are McDonalds in Australia. There everywhere. But they I think are really bad.
never watched croc dundee and Steve's dead.
You see kanga's in the zoo or just about all the time in the bush/outback.

The giant building as you probably know is the Sydney Opera House and the sails are only its designs.
You can eat kangaroo and it tastes like dry beef to me. (Not that dry really.)
