I'm going to hear them in concert. tonight. with Children 18:3 and Head (formerly of Korn). I've considered buying that CD. I probably will, now that I have that recommendation.

too early to tell yet. FM Static is recording a new CD (or so Trevor's status' on Facebook claim), but I don't know when that'll come out.

Just got back from the concert. It was great. The Classic Crime and Head were both really good, Children 18:3 kinda disappointed me.

My favorite so far has been the Elect the Dead Symphony by Serj Tankian

Children 18:3 was a disappointment. they're normally a LOT better. they didn't play Homemade Valentine, We're All so Fond of Dying, All My Balloons (SUPER disappointed there. the reprise just isn't enough). Head was better then I expected (since he only had one album out...). Classic Crime was pretty good as well. IMO, Children 18:3 was still the best band there, but had I not already been a fan of theirs, I'd say that Head>The Classic Crime>Children 18:3.

bought Vagabonds tonight. it's ok. I like Solar Powered Life, but so far nothing strikes me like Abracadavers did from their last one.

Head was absolutely fantastic. I'm a big Korn fan, and I've also loved his solo stuff. I expected a lot, and he over achieved :).

At the concert: Head >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Classic Crime >>>>> Children 18:3
Outside the concert: Head >>>>> Children 18:3 >>>>>>>>>>> Classic Crime

EDIT: That being said, I still bought a Children shirt.

haha, Head was really good, but I didn't know what to expect.

which Children shirt? the creepy clown one, the "you're popping my balloons, man!" or the red one of them (or one of the others I can't remember.

the bassist for Head was hilarious after the concert. he had one of those french curly-cue mustaches drawn on with a permenant marker. he then started singing oldies music with one of the mom's in my group. twas epic.
and Devin caught the towel thrown by the keyboardist of Head's. also epic.
