Deck building Creativity

It seems to me that dominants (and many artifacts/lost souls) have greatly impacted the deck creativity aspect of the game considering how they go into almost every deck. For instance, everyone plays at least SoG (usually NJ), AoTL, etc etc. What i would like to see are some decks that don't use cards that are in every deck. (sog for example) That way there is more room for creativity. Its no longer a 50 card deck but more along the lines of 40-43 considering you always put the same 7-10 cards in every deck. Has anyone ever thought of creating a deck or two that dont use these cards and playing games against other people who have decided to do the same? (rules would probably have to change a bit... maybe 3 LS to win.. best 2 out of 3) Idk. Just an idea, but i have been increasingly bored by redemption because of the lack of variety of cards in different decks.

Thoughts?

Type NW does this.
~Type NW~

Standard T1 rules with the following modifications:
-Decks must be exactly 70 cards.
-No Dominants allowed.
-Name-on-Name bonus is always used.
-Experience Credit is always used.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.
