A well prepared steak, seasoned just so.  Side of steamed broccoli and a bacon onion wrapped baked potato.  Not Healthy but still my favorite!

I was raised vegan (now vegetarian), and thus a big fan of vegan restaurants.

My favourite, however, would have to be "Pad Thai". Thai food is the greatest thing on the face of the earth.

Non-American Pineapples are amazing too.

Spam.

Does anyone know which state eats the most spam Per-captita than any other?  It may surprise you.

This state celebrates that reputation as well, creating numerous Spam based recipies.

I'm gonna guess Hawaii.

It is hawaii.

Now did you come by that honestly or did you google it?  I read it in a newsweek article about two months ago.

Funny story actually: When I went to Hawaii last Spring Break, we went to this little small town restaurant, and the owner there came up to us and asked us where we were from. When we answered "Minnesota," he got really excited and brought us out to the rest of the people who were eating lunch (pretty much the whole town) and announced that we were Minnesotans. He said, "And why do we love Minnesotans?" And they recited "Because they have Spam!" Then he made us put a pin in this map of where we were from. It was pretty funny.

Anyway, when you said, "It may surprise you," I immediately recalled that event.

I myself was raised vegetarian, so I have much appreciation for Greek food. I also enjoy Italian food, including chicken parmesan, lasagna, pizza, and italian salad.

+1 With the Gyro's.  My favorite Ethnic foods are:
1) almost anything Indian (Tikka Saag, Curry, Vindaloo, Naan...Yum!)
2) almost anything Chinese, (Although I have only had American chinese food here in the states...but it is cooked by real chineese people so I assume that it is pretty close)
3) Italian (c'mon cheese and pasta?  YES!)
4) Anything..and I mean ANYTHING Mexican. (My wife thinks I may be part mexican because of this)  Although I was watching a show on mexican food on the food channel once (dont ask why I was on the food channel)  and several "mexican" foods arent mexican at all such as the Chimi-changa (which was an accident in a mexican americna restaraunt) and the Fajitas.

All in all, my favorite foods are probably things that I've never had before. New ethnic foods are always fun to try. :)
