An unanswered question is infinitely better than an unquestioned answer.

That was sooo cool! I would be the happiest person alive if I could do all that with a bike.

Meh, anything done in a half-pipe or in a skate park-type place is boring to me.  Ramps aren't all that impressive.  Not once did any of those guys JUMP anything, and they had those trick bar things on the wheels, which in my opinion just makes it much less impressive than actually using the wheels.  Riding up a TREE and doing several flips is a heck of a lot cooler than doing it on a ramp.  Come on.

The first video was seriously impressive...what amazed me the most was how high he could get the back tire to jump.  I was amazed everytime at that...how is his legs lifting the backend of the bike?  straps?  applied foot pressure....regardless he must be one strong individual.

I think the basic technique for the jumps is start a wheelie, jump extending your body as far as possible to lift the front end of the bike, and then lift your body and use the handlebars to bring the back of the bike up with you.
