Its a little less than a month into the year....I'm still keeping my New Years Resoulution, (to "Change" myself) is anyone else? Growin my beard back, got some clothes that aren't black (plan on getting more this weekend...hopefully) And maybe the biggest change of all....I lost 10 lbs! Anyone else having success in keeping their resoultions?

So far one of mine is going well: I resolved to stop buying pop, as I used to buy at least a bottle a day. I still drink it when it's available to me for free (at parties, a friends house, etc.), as cutting it off completely would be more likely to end in failure (maybe if I can make it this year without buying it, I'll make it next year without drinking it). The one exception I have every week is Taco Tuesday, the free taco bar with drink purchase at a place on campus. I guess there I'm technically buying pop, but I kind of see it as buying tacos and getting pop free. Cheating? Maybe. But so far that's been my only exception.

The working out more and watching less TV hasn't panned out quite as well, unfortunately. There's improvement over last year, but not as much as I'd like.

thats a pretty good resolution to keep. i've tried many times to curb myself off pop (because its one of the worse things you could put into your body when you think about it...absolutely zero nutrients or vitamins a body needs, and lots of stuff your body doesnt really need)...i try switching to diet pop, but the regular just tastes so much better. now im pretty much off pop, but addicted to energy drinks...i cant go a morning without my monster...so i guess i just exchanged vices lol.

Have you tried gatorade? I find that that works very well with me in giving me energy and it is better than soda anyday XD

If you do, drink G2 as it's a lot lighter than the normal Gatorade for everyday drinking.  G contains a lot of calories and sugar... :P

I drink that or propel. Both are pretty good. I stick to the original cool blue. It's my vice...but the G2 have new flavors that are unparalled to the original flavors.
