I used to love Calvin and Hobbes, I own most of the books!

Calvin and Hobbes are great.  The only book I never owned was the Lazy Sunday book.  I should re-read them again.

I have almost memorized every comic from reading them so much!

It is my favorite comic of all time...nothing else comes close. I think I have around 8 books.  Too bad Bill is a recluse.

People laugh when they start looking at my books in my pastor's library and come across the same "Complete Collection of Calvin and Hobbes". Some days I need a good laugh.

Watterson really had a way of exposing some of the deeper questions of life. One of my favorites is when Calvin, in the week leading up to Christmas, debates with Hobbes what exactly it means to be "good". That is a question that will keep college philosophy classes debating for hours.

I had all the books at one point, and faithfully read the newspaper strips.

My favorite is still when Calvin was in the bathtub with his angry look. The mom turns on the water. Calvin yells out, "Mom! The water's too cold!" So the mom adjusts the knobs. Then Calvin yells out, "Mom! Now it's too hot!" So the mom adjusts the knobs again. Finally Calvin says, "Mom! Now it's too deep!"
