Dreams.
« on: March 24, 2009, 10:48:51 AM »

I keep having dreams that I either fail a class or am incredibly late for a class and end up missing a test or something. I missed out on these earlier on in my life (as I was homeschooled until high school). I'm kind of interested in the psychology behind these dreams; according to my father, they never go away; he still has them to this day (and my father was at the top of his classes as well). I really hate these dreams, haha. Has anyone else had these kind of dreams? (or possibily know a good way to get rid of them?)

I would say you have them because you are stressed about the classes.  I've never had dreams like that though.
May you prosper greatly!

You father speaks the truth. I still have similar dreams.

Cut out sugar before bed.  Sometimes I want to dream so I'll have a bowl of ice cream before bed.  In fact, ice cream gives me the most vivid dreams.  And it's also during this time that I'll revisit some familiar places.  I wish I was an artist because then I could draw the city that I visit often in my dreams.

I've had that one multiple times, I think every student who was challenged to be the best and never fail was/has, despite how many times we fall, and we all do eventually.... Another one that comes from time to time is I'm back in high school about to go on stage for some play I have no idea about or how I even got back to my small town and everyone expecting me to lead the show...either its my inner child wishing I was still acting, or symbolically one could perceive it as I feel that I am the lead role in my life with no idea what's going on, thus I should be turning to the Director for help...just some food for thought....

It kept happening about a certain upper-division philosophy class and I actually told my professor today. I got 100 on his test (which was the hardest test I've ever taken), so I don't know why I'd be dreaming these things.

I've been mis-reading your name as "TKProcks44". I was starting to wonder who you were.

My problems are not in my dreams, but in my reality. I actually did miss a quiz for a class because I made the mistake of stopping by a commons room that had the Arkanoid stand-up arcade game. I only used one quarter, but I reached my highest score ever and spent over an hour playing. I knew class had begun, but how can you leave a game when you've gone father than ever before?

Luckily, I wasn't playing Gorf at the time, because I would have had to endure the evil laugh at the end of the game as well as miss the quiz.   :o

I gave up soda and other stuff for lent. Three nights ago, I dreamt that I accidentally drank Sprite. I was flipping out. Then I woke up. Lol. I still havent drank soda since lent began. I don't consider canned Ice Tea a soda.
It is better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission

I gave up Blizzards for Lent.  Then my wife reminded me we don't do Lent.  I had some really weird dreams after that large Snickers Blizzard.   :D
