I was a Life Scout, partway into Eagle (I did the project and everything) but some stupid problems kept me from actually reaching that rank.

I was a scout for a short period of time, my friend invited me to visit so I hung out with them for a bit, joined up and went on some campouts.

We learned some first aid, some winter camping and raked leaves, helped with church activities and fun stuff like that.

My rank: Scout

Whoa, Eagle Scouts everywhere.  Props!  A couple of my friends became Eagle Scouts over the summer, very cool stuff.

My brother and I were part of our church's group for Tiger Cubs (maybe kindergarten?), but we kind of lost interest.  Probably because the merit beads (yes, beads) were for finding two leaves of the same color & such.  Always did love a good pine derby race, though...

While I was in boy scouts I learned stuff like first aid and how to make a life jacket out of your pants.

Shouldn't a boy scout "be prepared" and bring a life jacket with him?

You apparently underestimate my age.

Once an Eagle, always an Eagle. ;)

I totally don't even remember posting in this topic. But does having a "technically unofficial" boyfriend who's a boy scout count for anything? :)

bunch of quitters...  8)

Congradulations to all the eagle scouts. That accounts for a lot and speaks volumes for your commitment. In fact, 80% of all CIA agents were eagle scounts.
