i hear Leviticus and Duetronomy are very interesting

Youth group, MUSIC, hit on girls all day(if you're single), video games, talking on the phone, playing football with friends, going to the mall with friends to see who can get more phonenumbers from girls, work, sleep, poop, hunt, avoid worrying about school, and sitting on the computer.

If you're still bored after all of the above suggestions... Two suggestions:

I guarantee you will not be bored for a while.

Seriously, read.  It's a little late for jobs/internships.  If you're looking for a place to start, try Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End".  Really makes you think.

   if you are a fan of fiction like myself here are some books that will keep you on edge and make u think about God from a different angle:

Black (Circle Trilogy)
Red (Circle Trilogy)
White (Circle Trilogy)
Heaven's Wager [all by Ted Dekker]

This Present Darkness
Piercing the Darkness (sequel)
The Oath [all classics by Frank Peretti]

The Shack [amazing book by Paul Young. you will never see God the same way again!]

i don't know how old you are, but the books i would put at 13+ for an age range. they are quite gripping even if you are older as well.

   other suggestions are:
1. thinking of a crazy Redemption strategy (like discarding someone's whole deck, which was by the way do-able until some cards got their special abilities tweaked)
2. learn a skill (i learned how to juggle with a book a couple of summers ago)
3. read a familiar story in the Bible (like the book of Jonah) and find details you overlooked or took for granted
4. get a girlfriend (though if you end up doing that you can ignore everything i just posted because then you will have to get a job. and then you will spend most of the money at your job buying that special something for her and the rest is tithe. then you will find yourself busier and busier until you can't even play Call of Duty in peace because your skype keeps telling you that she keeps sending you messages. and once that happens you will find that time has simply vanished off the face of the earth, and u know this to be true because you are caught in the endless cycle of work, talk to your girlfriend, sleep, work, etc. then you will wonder why you ever started this thread that lead to this insane post...no but seriously don't tell my girlfriend...i was just kidding, love!!! Godly, caring women are always worth it! anyways...what was this thread about?)

   i was mostly joking about that one. if you like an exciting fiction i highly recommend those books. you ought to be able to find most of them at a nearby library.

[to SomeKkittens:] i didn't mean to give anyone the wrong impression. i've had a healthy relationship with my girlfriend for almost 2 years and we haven't so much as kissed. we have mentors and people we're accountable too as well. however if you have anything i am more than humble enough that i would accept your offer. i certainly won't say that i know everything.

CJ, I totally agree, based on my own past relationships, and what I've seen in my school

But you absolutely wouldn't believe how fake it is and it gets annoying trust me. I also go to a public school so most of it is for popularity and not even thinking about god. That's is why i chose the option that i do.

 

But what I said I wasn't joking much easier at my age. But you should see all the fake relationships in my school they last for like a month.

terribly sad, i know. i see people jump literally from one broken relationship from the next every few weeks. its refreshing to see someone who is willing to find the right one instead of hopping from one girl to the next hoping that it will last. not that i would know, this is still my first (and hopefully last )

[to Ring Wraith:] i must say that the first time reading the Shack i was a little skeptical. but, like most everything else, it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. the most important theme of the book was the kind of relationship that God intends for us. it put God on a far more personal level for me (which changed a lot of my views toward God because i live in a very legalistic house). in simpler terms, i have an easier time seeing God as my Dad (which i never had) instead of a Judge (which i grew up only understanding Him as). secondly...I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT BLINK AND GREEN!!! although i personally recommend reading Green after the other three. Obsessed was very good too, but the others are my favorites.
