Best set vs Worst set

What was the best set and why?
What was the worst set and why?

By the way, this is my personal opinion. If I offend anyone, let me know.

Best: Rock of Ages     Reason: Gives me some excellent white cards to use in my decks(TGT)
Worst: Angel Wars     Reason: Didn't like the idea of basing the set off a cartoon, plus the idea a demon working
with angels for good-struck me as wrong. Some decent cards through.

Your thoughts?
We will be going home to Jesus soon!

Best set: Patriarchs
Reason: The yellow is really masculine just like me.

Worst set: TEXP
Reason: I can't spell it.

Best: Prophets (also my favorite set)

Most balanced set by far and outside of one or two cards almost all of the cards are still usable and all of the cards are really fun!

Worst: Rock of Ages

Outside of the lost souls which are all really good. I dont think this set really brought much to the game except many sad faces with the rise of TGT.
3 Prophets Packs ftw

Except like 5 cards I've never recently seen Prophets cards in a deck. Many of them have no Special abilities. I really hope this is a joke. If it is it is not funny.

No im serious even the no SA cards are very good try taking down a 5/4 Green N.T Prophet with Windows up. Super Gad and some of those 6/3 dudes have been fan faves for ages. Also who doesnt want to use False Peace or own king David with The False Prophet. I know I sure do!
3 Prophets Packs ftw

Worst set: TexP
-60 cards? Lame. And only two new cards per pack? Lame. And no mint condition cards? lame.

Best set: Priests or Patriarchs
-Undecided which was better. Probably Priests. Priests introduced themes, nothing was broken, and the only real problem was that it didn't kill speed (which still hasn't been killed).

Best set: Disciples. Almost every single card was useful (per capita the least fluffy set ever released), only one broken card (as opposed to like 3 or 4 per set on average), no Dominants, and for perhaps the first time ever, counters to popular strategies (all previous "counters" had actually been silver bullets or checks).

Worst set: RoA because of TGT. Most unbalanced card printed since New Jerusalem and not a strong enough set otherwise to compensate for it.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

-1 Because Di reset the meta. RoA= Best set besides G&H. Oh yeah Herod's temple is worse than thad.(I have unpopular opinions)

All tins and whatever TexPs/Disciples are lame. Booster packs are where it's at. What cactus really needs to do is release a full booster set. Sure, there will be fluff, but honestly, imagine opening an ultra rare Thad. Rarities are needed.

I'm sure we could figure something out to get both rarities and numbers on a card ;)

Unfortunately I believe him... He beat me in sealed at Nats in the last round with three prophets packs... I had a Nero and a 3-liner... and an undefeated record.

Best Set: Disciples

Worst Set: RoA (TGT enough said)

Best: Kings because royalty was MIA from our playgroup.

Worst: Kings because it didn't help me win much.

As for knocking RoA:
Weird... I just used a Roman Defense to counter TGT... worked quite well for me.  (C'mon, RDJ takes out forts and N.T. heroes).

Best Set:  Warriors.  From what I'm told, it saved the game of Redemption.

Worst Set: None.  They all have their contributing value in some way.  They keep the game going year after year.  Kudos to all those involved that keep Cactus running.

Fav: TeXP - This set gets the distinction of being the only set to not include game breaking cards while still being useful

Least Fav: Angel Wars - Crappy art, crappy abilities, crappy URs. The only good thing to come out of this set is the Revealer and Anti- Burial.

Special cases:
RoA - TGT was horrific but the other tins made several strategies usable (Prophets and Gold), all in all one card shouldn't condemn a whole set

Di - On the fence about this one, it destroyed my favorite offense (Green) and introduced Thad TeH Hax0rZ but It has the lowest fluff card count of any set
An unanswered question is infinitely better than an unquestioned answer.

Looks like someone has All State.

Clearly the movement is dying off, if one of the most loyal members of the SQF fails to acknowledge Angel Wars' contribution of Que to the world.

I'd probably agree with this.

I wouldn't say Disciples destroyed Green, it just changed it. Sure Nazareth took a lot of Green's teeth away, but Disciples did give Green the second most powerful Hero in the set.
