I banned Colin.  I don't want it assumed that someone else banned him.  The reason I banned him was due to many complaints by many people over a long time.  We tried warnings and short term breaks.  These failed.  It's my fault for allowing it to go on as long as it did.  The sad thing is that a few bad apples on the boards have chased away good people who have become too frustrated.

I can't say that I am happy or sad really. I guess it'll be a relief not to have him arguing and insulting people all the time.

These cards create interesting game play and discussions. Colin created long posts full of "look how educated I am".
Plus, I can't tear him in half.  Just sayin'.

I respect Rob's decision and believe that it was the best one for the forum as a whole.

On a personal note, I'll miss Colin and some of our discussions.  I just wish that we could have had them in person, and not in front of all the impressionable minds here.  I hope that Colin will learn from this experience and that someday we will spend eternity in Heaven together.

Actually, Rob banned Colin, not Schaef.

Rob already stated that Colin was given plenty of opportunities to make the changes necessary to remain "on board," but he chose not to do what was required.

I think we should ban all the administrators and moderators for one week just to see what it would be like.

From what I remember, at least one moderator approved of such behavior.
