I'm just proud to see TKP all growed up and pwning trollz :tear:
I watched the entire show just this past month. I watched half of season 2 and all of season 3 in three days. best animated show ever, in my book.the movie will either be awesome or fail. I'm not sure which...
Is quite possibly one of the best TV shows ever. It's got a great plot, fantastic characters, awesome humor, and some pretty impressive action and animation for a cartoon. I am so psyched for the movie to come out; I just hope it can live up to the show. My youth group is having an Avatar marathon before the movie comes out, we'll be watching all three seasons.Who else is an Avatar addict?

Funny that I hated it when I first saw it but It grew on me.
I've been watching Avatar a lot lately too. Definitely one of my favorite shows. I intend to be at the first showing of the movie when it comes out, since I've been waiting for it for about two years now. The action and special effects will be good, but I expect the acting will be sub-par since the cast is a bunch of unknown karate kids.

Part of what was so fun about the show was that so much of it was lighthearted and funny. There was so much contrast between the fun/happy parts of the show and the sad/intense/whatever parts that it was much more compelling. I think the movie would lose a lot of that if the whole thing is too serious.@RRSpoiler (hover to show)Katara told Aang that they were in the middle of a war and it wasn't the right time. She liked him even then, but was confused because she felt guilty about it then, when they had other responsibilities because of the war. After the war was over, she wasn't conflicted about it. Katara's feelings toward Aang didn't change. It's also possible that she didn't want to get more attached to him, because she wasn't sure if he'd survive the battle with the firelord.
Cartoons have absolutely nothing on Anime, but as far as cartoons go, Avatar is ok. Tim Curry ftw but that's about it, too teenie-bopper.
best animated show ever,
