No promises but Mike thinks that 'barring any unforeseen circumstances' we may be able to put a system in place to help message boards members post HTTPS-BASED avatars soon as the site gets converted to a secure one.
Again it's just a plan with no promises -- An option for posting avatars is to host images on cactusforums.com. This requires members to message me or Mike existing non-HTTPS pic URLs and we would upload them into a static folder that members can reference once it's live.
For instance, Mike had my existing avatar image URL and dropped it into an accessible folder, converted to an HTTPS-BASED URL resulting to the following:
.
We can do a similar approach with members who have trouble simply switching their image links to HTTPS. However, I think lots of us will now be able to use HTTPS-BASED image URLs that Imgur and even Postimages.org have once the message boards converts to a secure site.
This project will be a work in progress. Let us all pray for amazing fruits. Let us also all be patient with the process.
That's our latest heads up thus far.
May you always be blessed.
Peace.
