Talk about blessings by making it a must for oneself to be with a starter deck in your bag!
I had decided to accompany my mom to Chicago to meet with her two sisters whom she has not seen frequently. One of the sisters has a reunion of nurses from college in the Philippines --- they are now all in their late 70's.
Yesterday, as we entered the hotel venue there was a huge group of tweens who were being greeted farewell by their parents. These youth would be flying to various continents tomorrow for an 11-month missions trip to several countries.
"
Adventures in Missions" -- 260 young men and women from various states and Christian groups will fly tomorrow in four squads of 60. They will fly to a couple of countries in each continent and conglomerate, I believe, in South America for their last leg.
Please pray for the group as they have also committed to pray for our Christian gaming mission. And especially pray for Jordan. He was kind enough to answer my curious questions about this missions trip --- I have given him a brand new starter deck and will teach him the game briefly tonight. He will be taking Redemption CCG with him for 11 months and hopefully share its spirit.
